Do you bill insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and I am not currently able to bill your insurance for you. However, some or all of the cost could be covered by your health insurance, if you have outpatient mental health coverage. I can provide you with a monthly billing statement if you would like to submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement. My billing statement does not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company. Always check directly with your insurance company about your coverage. Fees you pay for therapy services that are not reimbursed by insurance may be deductible as medical expenses.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, personal check, and most major credit/debit cards through a secure online client portal.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes, I have some sliding scale openings in my practice. If you feel your financial circumstances might qualify you for a sliding scale rate please contact me to discuss your situation.

Do you work with kids?

I work with ages 12 and older.

What can I expect at our first counseling session?

To start I offer a free 15 phone consultation so that you can hear a little about me and explore if I would be the right therapist for you.

If we decide to work together we will schedule our first session. I will email you a link to my online client portal where you will complete and e-sign the intake forms. Before our first session, I will read over what you’ve shared.

Our first session will be focused on getting to know each other and identifying your goal for therapy. We will work together to determine the best approach to help guide the process towards your goal. I encourage clients to share their hopes and expectations for pace and outcomes.
